Interdisciplinary work in the fields of urban planning and economics resulted in the insight that research findings on change in large corporations can be applied to handling transformation processes in established urban quarters. Successful management of change in complex systems seems to follow comparable principles. However, can the modules of business change management really be applied to urban transformation processes?
In an urban salon, renowned corporate and political consultants and local protagonists will explore how to structure change in the urban context.
The urban salon format is open – anything from listening to presenting is conceivable. There will be no speaking platform. Anyone wishing to contribute is cordially invited to do so. A keynote will set the broader frame for the event.
